In the 70's Rap Music was created to put an end to Gang Violence.
40 years later this idea has become a figure in popular culture.
But instead of party themed music.
The struggle of growing up in the inner city are glorified.
A Billion dollar business has taken root in the Rap Community. And the thirst for cash have some to resort to lieing and slander to further pursue the pot of gold at the end of the Rap Rainbow.
It's sad because a good percentage of the successful folks in this genre of music have made it without resorting dragging other artist down.
